Arkansas Blues History

Arkansas doesn't immediately pop into mind when one thinks of "The Blues."  More recognizable Blues geography includes Memphis, Chicago, the Mississippi delta region and Texas.  Don't forget that Arkansas has its own delta region and the famous "King Biscuit Time" radio show originated in Helena, Arkansas. Arkansas does hold a well-deserved place in the hearts, minds and ears of the informed though. The Natural State has produced it's share of Blues greats and they will be showcased here.
